Description
The healing art of Reiki teaches us to work in balance and harmony with the Universal Life Force. It is a practice supporting us to be more present and centred in the heart, developing greater compassion and joy. Reiki works powerfully, gently and safely to assist healing on all levels, promoting deep relaxation, peacefulness and being ‘at one’ with self and the environment. In this life affirming workshop you will learn to work with Reiki as a technique for transmitting universal life force energy to yourself and others.
The course meets the requirements of the Australian Reiki Associations, includes comprehensive training, attunement to Reiki Level I, an illustrated manual, certificate which entitles you to Reiki organization membership and insurance, on-going support and an invitation to attend future Reiki gatherings.
Duration & date
12 hours over 2 days, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
The first Reiki Level I course for 2012 will be February 18-19.
Teaching method
Modified lectures/discussions, meditation and practical exercises.
Vickie is an IICT Approved Training Provider
Pre-requisites
Participants are required to have had at least one full Reiki treatment with Vickie. You will receive a course outline and background reading material a week before the course commences.
Materials required
Notebook, pen, comfortable clothing - you will be giving a Reiki treatment as well as receiving one.
Refreshments
Refreshments are provided throughout the course and light lunches will be served. Please let Vickie know if you have any dietary requirements. You are requested not to have any caffeine or nicotine while on the course.
Cost
$280. An $80 deposit is required at time of booking with the balance to be paid by the first day of the course. Payment may be made by cash cheque or internet transfer.
