Services and Costs

Although services can be tailored to suit the individual client, the typical Confident Birth Doula package includes -

  • A minimum of four ante-natal visits to your home, or mine, of approximately two hours
  • A comprehensive information pack
  • Additional information requests throughout your pregnancy quickly answered by phone or email
  • References for professional services and support
  • Assistance in writing a birth preferences document
  • 24 hour on-call access two weeks before and after your due date
  • Unrestricted continuous support throughout labour
  • Therapeutic grade oils, heat packs and all equipment needed for comfort during labour
  • Two post-natal visits
  • Exclusive access to an extensive library of birth and parenting related material
  • A photographic record and personal written account of your baby's birth

 The total package is $900.  Discounts are available and a payment schedule can be negotiated.  

Single meetings at $55 per hour can be arranged for  -

  • Assistance in the preparation of a birth preferences  document
  • Guided meditation and relaxation
  • Advice and coaching for birth partners 
  • Pre or postnatal Reiki sessions (wonderfully calming and guaranteed to reduce stress)
  • Postnatal de-briefing
  • Complementary therapies - Reiki, aromatherapy, reflexology, Australian Bush Flower Essences

Baby Calming workshops are $280 per family.

Supporting a Birth Only

 It is far better that I build a rapport with you and we get to know each other prior to the birth.  If I am contracted late in the pregnancy the fee for one pre-natal visit and birth support is $650.

In order to devote as much time as possible to clients, I only support 3 births per month. Please contact me well before your baby is due to secure a booking and enjoy the full benefits of having a doula on-call during your pregnancy.
